Nic has over 11 years experience teaching acoustic & electric guitar and clarinet. He plays and teaches a wide range of guitar styles, from pop and rock to classical and Latin American music. Nic tailors his lessons to each student. He enjoys teaching guitar through his students' favourite songs. In 2013, as a singer/ songwriter/ guitarist ​he won the national Emergenza Battle of the Bands rock competition with his band "Cuervo", representing Australia at the International Finals in Germany where they were placed fourth. Nic wrote many of the lessons in the GEKO Guitar & Ukulele tuition methods.
Nic is also an accomplished clarinet player having studied this instrument at the Sydney Conservatorium High School where he gained valuable ensemble and orchestra experience. He teaches clarinet both to students who want to learn just for fun or those who want to do exams such as AMEB levels.
