The GEKO Song Club Band brings together advance intermediate guitar and ukulele students who want to learn to play their favourite songs.
Wind and percussion students can join the orchestra as guest soloist to perform specific works to showcase their talents. The GEKO Song Club Band performs at public events such as the annual GEKO MUSIC FESTIVAL at Warringah Mall. Entry to the GEKO Song Club Band is by invitation only. To qualify, guitar and ukulele students need to achieve GEKO grade 3.01. GEKO Song Club Band members rehearse weekly at at the GEKO Music Academy's main location at the North Curl Curl Community Centre. |
